What is Beamsmoor Furniture Company?
Beamsmoor Furniture company make free-standing bespoke and made to order furniture, using sustainably sourced wood to create luxury furniture to suit any home.
Working on both low-volume, made-to-order collections, alongside one of a kind bespoke commissions, I use the same attention to detail, innovation and precision, in both design and manufacture that I did whilst working in Formula One.
Wherever possible we work with sustainably sourced timber with Grown in Britain (GiB), FSC or PEFC certified timber suppliers. Ensuring that the wood used in my products is from a sustainable source ensures that all of the products I create have the care and attention they deserve, from sourcing of the timber through to delivery of the final product.

I am Charlie Gomersall, the founder of Beamsmoor Furniture Company.
My journey into becoming a furniture designer/maker is an unconventional one, staring with a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering and shaped by several years working as a Formula One Design Engineer, contributing to multiple constructors World Championships.
Following my career as an Engineer, I have pivoted to pursue a lifelong passion for woodworking and furniture design, leading to the formation of Beamsmoor Furniture Company.
My desire is to create timeless, striking furniture, paying homage to the materials used, whilst consciously sourcing timber that is sustainable, ensuring these materials are available for years to come. Creating furniture that is both durable and considered in design for the owner, ensures the longevity of the product for years to come.
